How To Clean Up A Slow Windows or Mac Computer

To get the best performance of the device, it is necessary to make some changes. It includes the clean up of all old and outdated files, programs, and settings that slow down the functioning of our system or device.

There are many steps to follow to keep the device in good condition:-
Cleaning out Unnecessary Disks on Windows
1. Launch the Window logo located at the bottom-left edge of your desktop screen.
2. Then type in “Disk Cleanup” . It commands your system to search and detect out the Cleanup utility program to remove all the unwanted disks, files, and folders stored in the computer.
3. Now you have to tap on the ” Disk Cleanup” option. It’s situated at the uppermost part of the Start button. After this operation, Disk Cleanup will pop-out in an independent window.
In case you have opened another window, you have to tap on the Flashing Disk Cleanup tab present at the base of your screen before going forward.
4. Now tap on the “Clean up system files” option lies at the left side to the foot of the disk Cleanout page. It permits this program to search more files to remove from its list.
5. Check all the available boxes under the main window because every document, files, or any other items can be removed from the list to free out more volume on your computer.
6. Hit on the “OK” button present at the foot of your system window.
7. Tap on the “Delete Files” option after the prompt comes. Now the cleanup program will start removing unnecessary files and folders from your computer. Please stay calm. It may take some time to perform this operation.
8. If your system stored an unnecessary application or programs that you do not use, then it is advisable to delete it at once. This enables your computer to perform better and faster.
Cleaning out the Disk on Mac
1. Go to the Apple icon. Now tap the Apple logo present at the upper-left edge of your window. After that, a pull-down menu option will display.
2. Press on the “About This Mac’ option. Then the window will open.
3. Now tap on the “Storage” option. This lies at the uppermost part of the screen.
4. Press on the ” Manage” tab on the top-right side of the screen. This action will open a new window with stock options (storage).
5. You can tap on the “Details” options depending on the Mac version.
6. Now tap on the “Optimize” button present on the right side of the “Optimize Storage” title. It will give rise to your Mac to overcome unnecessary files 
7. Now remove unwanted programs. In case you have some apps and programs which you don’t wish to keep it long, remove them. Doing this action will save more space in your computer and it will run more smoothly than before.
Now that the unwanted applications or files have been removed, the performance of the computer will improve.
