How to Fix Apphang Transient Event on Windows 10

The error code "1001" with the "ApphangTransient Event" error arises when you have insufficient storage on your system to run the particular app. The transient error occurs when the application crashes and becomes unresponsive due to inappropriate disk space to run it. Sometimes, people reset the system and reboot their PC, but they don't fix the issue. Unfortunately, any such solutions like reset or restarting the app or computer doesn't help you anymore. 

This error can be located inside the "Fault Bucket" section of "Event Viewer," and it can be fixed by running "Disk Cleanup" and other methods.

About Fixing 1001 Error Issue
If you are among those who are facing the error code 1001 or "AppHangTransient Event," then you are getting no response by the particular application that you wish to launch. This is due to not compatible or appropriate disk storage for the app to perform. There are various methods to troubleshoot this error issue. Don't try to reset your system or application because it won't help you more in this situation. 
Follow these steps, if you wish to check and fix this error issue:
Running "Disk Cleanup" Tool
If you wish to run a cleanup program to troubleshoot the transient error issue, then abide by these instructions:
  • Firstly, press the "Windows" +"E" keys simultaneously to launch the "File Explorer" window. Alternatively, you can tap the explorer icon by navigating the "Taskbar."
  • Then, tap on "This PC" option there located at the left-hand side section.
  • Now, look for the "C:" drive and then hit the "Properties" tab there.
  • After that, tap on the "Disk Cleanup" option from the upcoming wizard box.
  • Now, the cleanup tool starts scanning your system, and you can see the scanning process through the pop-out box.
  • Next, when the scanning completes, look for the "C;" Disk Cleanup page. 
  • Then, navigate to the section "Files to Delete" and mark every option box.
  • After that, tap on "OK" to proceed.
  • Finally, press the "Delete Files" option for providing your positive consent to remove issues creating data.
Enlarging the Paging Size
The shortage of paging storage space could be another issue for this 1001 error on your system's Windows 10. If you wish to troubleshoot this issue, you should try to increase your system's paging space. To do so, follow these steps:
  • First of all, hit the "Taskbar Search" option located next to the "Start" icon.
  • Then, enter the "Control Panel" in the provided search bar.
  • Once the result appears, tap the "Enter" key from the keyboard.
  • After that, hit the "System" option from the available choices.
  • Now, tap the Advanced related option located at the left-hand side section.
  • Then, navigate to the "Performance" section and then press on the "Settings" tab there. 
Note: You will be inside the "Advanced" option by default.
  • After a while, a fresh window will appear, having the name "Performance Option."
  • Next, go to the "Advanced" section and then tap on the "Change" button situated inside the section of "Virtual Memory."
  • Now, unmark the checkbox related to automatic manage file located inside the "Virtual Memory" dialog box that will further display the paging size and the storage amount.
  • After that, tap on "C:" drive and hit the radio tab located next to "Custom Size" and set your paging size manually.
  • Finally, after following all the above steps, tap on "OK" for the system to changes to save.
